Hong Kong Heat

Those fountains are great for cooling the air a little.

I thought a ride with the dolphin might help keep me cool too, but no such luck.

A nice big swig of water makes a big difference.

Tian Tan Buddha - The Big Buddha

Did you say this tree is plastic Dad?!

Ed was my tourguide, but that Buddha statue is so big, I could probably find my way there myself!!

there sure are lots of steps to the top...Mummy volunteered to stay at the bottom with the pram while Ed, Daddy and I climbed to the top.

yep, its HUGE. That's me having great fun at the bottom.

family shot - if we look hot its because it was.

Hong Kong Cable Car

Hey, this cable car thing just started moving..

are you sure its safe Ed?
Wowsers, thats a looong way down!

Was this your bright idea Ed?!

Hong Kong Skyline

Well that cable car was fun, now let's see what mischief I can get into up here...

Chasing some poor unfortunate child

nonchalant posing

say cheese!

together as a family

Hong Kong Aviary

My dramatic entrance to the Hong Kong Aviary: these bead curtains are the best, I've never had so much fun in my life!

Wow, there are birds everywhere!!!

Strutting my stuff

Thankfully Dad's got strong shoulders for when my legs ran out of energy!

I know these Hong Kong trams are cool, but its been a long, hot day - put that camera away!

Family Reunion in Hong Kong

Well this trip is off to a good start: not only did I get to fly on a plane (for a veeerrrryyy long time) we also saw Uncle Dan, Aunty Fi, DJ and Sheridan when we stopped for a break in Hong Kong.

It was so good to see my cousins again - we had such a good time together

I always have fun with Dad...

but when Uncle Dan is there, its even more fun!!!

Farewell England

Well, our UK visa is about to expire, so the house is all packed up and we're ready to move back to Australia. I haven't lived there yet, so it is a big adventure for me.

There have been lots of tears lately, so I hope things settle down soon. It is sad saying goodbye to all my friends, but I'm happy that I'm going to live closer to all my relatives in Australia.

Goodbye Durham, we'll be back for a visit in February!

Compensation

Mum and Dad must be feeling a little guilty about the disappearance of all my toys because a parcel just arrived in the post for me.

I am so excited about watching this Kipper DVD!!!

And a Fireman Sam DVD as well - is it Easter again?!!!!!!

(And yes, our house really did look like this in the days leading up to our trip back to Australia!)

My beloved Elvis

Poor Elvis looks a bit cold after his bath!

And I'm sure his ears must really hurt when Mum does that to him!

It's alright Elvis, I'll look after you! (And my new Mini!)

Easter Time

Wow, I think I like Easter already!

Who cares about a chocolate egg when there is a MINI to play with?!!

Smitten. (Dylan with his car and Daddy with his son)

Just checking the engine is in good shape

Dad why can't our car be one of these?

Back home to the trusty alley

I have no idea where my Cosy Coupe and all the rest of my toys have disappeared to, but at least I can still play with this one.

Who knows what they spend our taxes on - this road is a disgrace, my car keeps getting stuck in all the potholes!

Ireland - Powerscourt

I feel like I'm "walking the plank" a little here..

I'm sorry, I promise I won't do it again!

Hey, I said I'm sorry!!!

A gorgeous boy in Ireland

mmm, I wonder what mischief I can get into here?

I'm sure if I just smile as sweetly as I can, I will get away with (almost) anything?!

Ireland - Newgrange

Newgrange was AMAZING - at dawn on the shortest day of the year, a beam of sunlight illuminates the chamber at the end of a passageway; it was built around 5000 years ago and has never had a drop of water inside (even in rainy Ireland!) Mummy was very impressed!
